We finally got to shoot some Hockey! Sligo Grammar School against Salerno Salthill at the Sports Complex. Took us a while to get up to speed with the ebb and flow of the game but was very enjoyable (apart from the score that is). Photos from the game and be viewed and ordered here or instore.

Sligo Grammar School v Marist College Athlone

Sligo Grammar School’s Senior Rugby team had their first outing in the Connacht Schools Senior Cup on Tuesday last. Open, running rugby was the order of the day with lots of tries and action on offer – ideal fodder for sports photography.

Sligo Grammar School v Summerhill College – Senior Friendly

Normally any game involving these two schools is safest photographed from a bunker, with a flak jacket on! But this was a much more amiable affair. A chance for the squad players from both schools to get some rugby under their belts before the Connacht Schools Senior Cup Proper starts. It was a most enjoyable game (for Summerhill) and a great chance for this shooter to see some of the up and coming talent in both schools – in combat – so to speak.
