Summerhill College v St Joseph’s (The Bish) – Connacht Schools Senior Development Cup Final

We’ve just published a small selection of photos from the Connacht Schools Senior Development Cup Final between Summerhill College and The Bish (St Joseph’s). The game was played on Friday last on the side pitch in the Sportsground in Sligo. Disappointing result for ‘The Hill’ but a fantastic achievement for the boys to reach this stage of the competition.

We got to photograph Summerhill College in the Senior Cup against Clifden Community School recently. The game ebbed and flowed but thankfully the ‘hill’ came out on top! Photos can be viewed here and instore immediately.

Summerhill v St Jarlaths – Connacht Senior Colleges A Football Championship

We got to photograph Summerhill College against St Jarlaths of Tuam in the Connacht Senior Colleges A Football Quarter Finals recently. Big game – Big result – Big photos! We went down to wet and windy Tubbercurry and were lucky enough to witness a fantastic result for ‘the hill’.

Sligo Grammar School v Summerhill College – Senior Friendly

Normally any game involving these two schools is safest photographed from a bunker, with a flak jacket on! But this was a much more amiable affair. A chance for the squad players from both schools to get some rugby under their belts before the Connacht Schools Senior Cup Proper starts. It was a most enjoyable game (for Summerhill) and a great chance for this shooter to see some of the up and coming talent in both schools – in combat – so to speak.

Summerhill College v Presentation College Athenry – Under 16 Schools Soccer

We’ve just uploaded photos from the Under 16 Schools soccer game between Summerhill and Athenry. The game was played on January 19th in Summerhill College, Sligo. It was feckin freezing.

Very enjoyable game – hopefully the first of many schools soccer games we get to this year. If you’ve got a game on make sure you let us know!
